Agriculture plays an important role in our daily life. But as we know farmer faces many challenges in selling and transporting their products to market. One of the major problems they face is the lack of proper communication between Farmer, Company/ Buyer and Transport providers. Because of this, farmer depends on middlemen & receive lower prices for their products. And also additionally, delays in transportation can lead to spoilage of agricultural goods. The purpose for making this app is very simple to resolves this problem we make this app “Agri Products Transportation System”. Through this system, farmer can add their products, companies or hotels can directly view and purchase products, and transporters can provide delivery services. This platform helps reduce transportation delays improve communication between stockholders, and increase efficiency in agriculture product distribution. The system also support farmers in reaching buyers that products are delivered safely and efficiently .
Introduction
Agriculture is a vital sector, especially in rural areas where farmers’ livelihoods depend on it. However, farmers face challenges in selling and transporting products due to limited market access, lack of transportation, and reliance on traditional methods. This leads to higher costs, delays, and lower profits due to middlemen.
With digitalization and mobile applications, a smart agriculture transportation system can simplify supply chains by:
Connecting farmers directly with buyers (companies, hotels, mess services).
Allowing farmers to upload product details and manage deals.
Enabling users to request transportation services and track deliveries.
Increasing transparency and reducing dependency on intermediaries.
System Framework:
Login & Home Page: Users enter details to access the platform and see options for farmers, businesses, transport requests, and delivery tracking.
Farmer Module:
Add products (name, quantity, personal info stored in database).
Deal with companies/hotels/mess services.
Review added products and deal history.
Business Module:
Add business information.
View and select farmer products for purchase.
Track deal history.
Transport Module:
Transport providers register and add vehicle/transport details.
Users request transport services and track delivery.
Problem Statement:
Farmers struggle to directly connect with buyers and access reliable transport, leading to dependency on middlemen, lower profits, and potential spoilage of perishable goods. A smart system is required to integrate farmers, buyers, and transport providers, ensuring efficient sales, transport, and delivery tracking.
This system streamlines agricultural product marketing, improves profitability, and ensures timely delivery of goods.
Conclusion
Without use of IOT ,Transportation of the Agri product is Easy and usefull because no weatage of goods and does’t pay the extra payment of goods. This Application handles effective Communication between the Farmer and Company. It Provide a job to the people who is surviving in village with family and also uneducated Boys. That’s the reason farmer earn more Mony, without helping merchant.
