Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a vital role in the success of any organization by effectively managing its workforce. This research paper aims to study the Human Resource Management practices at Taskar based on practical exposure gained during an internship. The study focuses on key HR functions such as recruitment, training, employee engagement, and performance management. Data for the study was collected through observation and interaction with HR personnel during the internship period. The findings reveal that Taskar follows structured HR practices that contribute to employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency.
Introduction
Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a vital role in helping organizations achieve their goals by effectively managing employees through recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations. In today’s competitive environment, strong HR practices are essential for retaining talent and improving productivity. This study is based on an internship at Taskar and highlights the practical application of HR concepts learned during the BBA course.
The study focuses on understanding HR practices at Taskar, particularly recruitment and selection, training and development, employee engagement, and performance management. Its scope is limited to the HR department and does not include other functional areas. A descriptive research methodology was used, relying on primary data from observation and interaction with HR staff, and secondary data from company and academic sources.
Taskar is a service-based organization that values employees as key assets and follows structured HR policies. The company adopts systematic recruitment methods, provides onboarding and training programs, encourages open communication, and evaluates employee performance regularly. The findings indicate that Taskar has organized and effective HR practices, positive employee relations, and useful performance evaluation systems. Suggestions include enhancing training programs, introducing employee feedback surveys, and developing career growth plans to improve long-term employee retention.
Conclusion
The study concludes that Human Resource Management plays an important role in the overall performance of Taskar. The company’s HR practices help in effective workforce management and employee satisfaction. The internship provided valuable practical exposure and helped in understanding real-world HR operations beyond theoretical knowledge.
