News Wave Application is a modern digital news platform designed to provide users with real-time and reliable news updates in a simple and user-friendly interface. The application gathers news from trusted sources using APIs and displays it in organized categories such as Politics, Sports, Technology, Entertainment, and Business. The main objective of News Wave is to make news consumption faster, personalized, and accessible anytime and anywhere. Users can search for specific topics, receive instant notifications for breaking news, bookmark important articles, and share news easily. The application also offers a responsive design suitable for both mobile and web platforms. By integrating secure data handling and efficient backend services, News Wave ensures smooth performance and accurate information delivery.

Introduction

News Wave Application is a modern web-based platform that delivers the latest 24-hour news updates in a simple, organized, and user-friendly format. Built with HTML, CSS, and ReactJS, it displays headlines, sources, and publishing times to ensure reliability, with a responsive interface for desktop and mobile users.

Literature Review: Digital news apps like Google News and Inshorts demonstrate the shift from traditional newspapers to real-time, categorized news delivery. ReactJS and other modern web technologies enhance performance and user experience, informing News Wave’s design.

Methodology: The application was developed through requirement analysis, responsive frontend design, ReactJS-based component architecture, and API integration for real-time news. Testing ensured smooth performance, accuracy, and device/browser compatibility.

Experimental Results: News Wave successfully fetched and displayed real-time news with fast loading times, responsive layout, and accurate content. User feedback confirmed ease of navigation and readability. Cross-browser testing showed consistent performance, and hardware acceleration improved animations, transitions, and scrolling.

Discussion: The project highlights the effectiveness of combining ReactJS and APIs to deliver fast, reliable news in a simple, organized interface. Including source names and timestamps enhances credibility, though reliance on external APIs poses potential performance risks. The app underscores the importance of responsive design, performance optimization, and reliable data integration in modern web applications.
