In this personal case study, I share my journey of reversing Vitamin B12 and D deficiencies without pharmaceutical supplements. By adopting a fully raw plant-based lifestyle, regular colon cleansing through enemas, daily fresh juices, sun exposure, and barefoot connection to the earth (earthing), I observed significant improvement in my energy levels, gut health, and blood test reports. This research aims to provide insight into how nature-based practices can support the body\'s natural ability to heal and regulate essential nutrients.
Introduction
Modern lifestyles and processed foods have caused widespread Vitamin B12 and D deficiencies, usually treated with supplements. Instead, the author chose a natural healing approach focused on gut health, sunlight exposure, and a raw vegan lifestyle over 90 days, avoiding animal products and pills.
Methodology included:
A 100% raw vegan diet with fruits, leafy greens, and daily green juices.
Colon cleansing with warm water enemas multiple times a day.
Daily sunbathing (30-45 minutes) for natural Vitamin D synthesis.
Earthing by walking barefoot on natural surfaces to improve well-being.
Aligning with natural sleep rhythms and digital detoxes.
Fasting each morning before breaking the fast with green juice.
Results:
Significant increases in Vitamin B12 (from 190 to 320 pg/mL) and Vitamin D (from 14 to 32 ng/mL) without supplements, along with improved energy, digestion, and mental clarity.
Discussion:
The improvement in B12 challenges the idea it only comes from animal sources, suggesting gut detoxification and a healthy microbiome may aid B12 production or absorption.
Vitamin D levels rose due to regular sun exposure and possibly magnesium-rich raw foods.
Juices and raw foods energized the body and aided detoxification.
Earthing supported better sleep, reduced inflammation, and emotional balance.
Fasting helped optimize the body’s healing processes.
Conclusion
This self-study reflects the body\'s ability to heal when returned to a natural state of living. Through raw foods, colon cleansing, natural sunlight, fasting and connection to nature, I reversed my B12 and D deficiencies and experienced holistic well-being. Nature provided everything I needed, reminding me that simplicity is powerful. More in-depth research can help validate these experiences on a broader scale.
