It offers real-time navigation, nearby place discovery, and an AI chatbot for personalized guidance. Safety is enhanced through live location sharing and route tracking features.

Introduction
The Smart Travel Assistance System is a modern travel solution designed to overcome limitations of traditional GPS and mapping applications, which often lack personalization, integrated safety features, and intelligent recommendations. Travelers frequently struggle with fragmented tools for navigation, place discovery, and safety, especially in unfamiliar locations.
The proposed system integrates GPS-based navigation, AI-powered chatbot assistance, and real-time safety features into a single platform. It provides live route guidance, nearby attractions, and personalized travel recommendations based on user preferences and location. Safety is enhanced through features like live location sharing, route tracking, deviation alerts, and real-time notifications.
The system is developed using technologies such as React Native/Flutter, JavaScript/Python, Node.js/Flask, Firebase/SQLite, and Google Maps or OpenStreetMap APIs, with standard hardware requirements like an Intel i3 or Apple M1 processor and 8GB RAM.
