In the recent years the use herbal face scrub is increasingly in huge amount. These scrubs contain natural ingredients such as rice powder and orange peel powder, coffee powder, which work to exfoliate, whiten, and prevent free radical damage. It exfoliates the skin and stimulates blood circulation, while also eliminates dead skin cells and reveal smoother, brighter complexion. Herbal cosmetics are the safest product to use routine with no side effects. In today\'s life for both women and men cosmetics plays an important role to beautifying and altering the appearance of skin. The use of natural ingredients to remain healthy and of good appearance, the skin surface requires frequent cleansing to remove oil, sebum and other secretions, dead cells, crusts and applied makeups.
Introduction
Cosmetics, especially herbal cosmetics, are widely used to enhance appearance and address skin issues like protection, aging, acne, and pigmentation. Herbal cosmetics combine bioactive plant ingredients, offering dual benefits of body care and improved biological skin functions, with fewer side effects than chemical products. Indian herbs are particularly valued in cosmetic formulations, which are increasingly popular worldwide.
Facial skin serves protective, expressive, immune, and moisturizing roles but can face problems such as acne, dryness, oiliness, wrinkles, pigmentation, and sensitivity caused by various factors. Skincare routines and dermatologist consultations help manage these issues.
Recent research focuses on herbal facial scrubs made from natural ingredients with cleansing, moisturizing, antioxidant, and anti-aging properties. Ingredients such as tamarind peel, multani mitti, turmeric, red lentils, rice flour, liquorice, and alum contribute exfoliation, oil absorption, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, whitening, and antibacterial effects.
The formulated herbal scrub shows good qualities: slightly acidic pH, pleasant aroma, easy washability, good spreadability, and no skin irritation. Usage involves mixing the powder with rose water to create a paste, applying it gently to exfoliate and hydrate the skin, followed by rinsing and moisturizing.
Benefits of using the herbal face scrub include removal of dead skin cells, unclogging pores, reducing acne scars, preventing ingrown hairs, improving skin texture, and enhancing absorption of other skincare products.
Conclusion
The above results suggest that the scrub formulations face scrub are safe to use, and it gets good effects as a scrubbing agent. The majority of the substances are natural, and there are low chances of adverse effects.
The scrub was prepared by using various crude drug powders as polymer and then evaluated by various parameters which report prepared. Formulation have good consistency better result and does not have side effects. It is suitable for all skin types, including dry, oily, and normal.
It produces better results and leaves the skin looking radiant and bright. From the given study, it can be concluded that prepared herbal scrub formulation exhibited satisfactory result.
