Introduction
Technology, especially generative AI, is transforming education by enabling personalized and interactive learning experiences that move beyond traditional one-size-fits-all teaching. This paper presents a smart learning platform that uses generative AI to create animated educational videos with Indian English voiceovers, allowing students to select topics of interest, improving engagement and comprehension. Teachers gain actionable analytics on student performance to tailor instruction.
A literature survey of 10 papers highlights various AI applications in education, emphasizing personalized learning, improved engagement, video-based learning, and challenges such as data privacy, ethical concerns, and implementation complexity.
The proposed system architecture consists of four layers:
Presentation Layer: A responsive web interface for user interaction.
Application Logic Layer: Backend powered by Django, handling user authentication, query processing, and coordinating AI tasks.
AI Orchestration Layer: Integrates external AI services (Gemini 2.0 Flash for text explanations and LumaAI for video generation) through secure APIs.
Data Layer: Secure PostgreSQL database storing user data and AI outputs, with cloud storage and caching support.
Security measures and containerization (Docker) ensure a scalable, maintainable, and future-proof platform adaptable to emerging AI technologies.
